Back in Miami

The first time I was there in 1996 and I thought the combo of South Beach Miami Vice 80ies Trashyness and Cuban Flavour, Gay Beach Scene and Art Deco was fantastic.

I missed this flavour a bit this time

But it was again a great way to start because on Memorial Day Weekend all the BBoys and Bgirls flock to South Beach to party and crowd the streets. The locals seem to flee the place but I thought it was super!

Waking up at 6am on the first night after a long flight
Taking a shower going out in the street
Feeling strange because I always drink so much water on a flight but of course its not allowed to bring water in to the plane anymore. So I have to keep bugging the young stewardess for water, she’s very friendly and professional but I still feel that I am a piece of work for her.

Finally I manage to get up, shower, get out into the heat, check email. Miami beach
