I took this movie along to the US

Its one of these artist film-in-film movies. Maybe the best one (I'm usually a bit sceptic about this genre). This one actually might have invinted the genre.

I really like the end sequence

and the portrait of Marcello Mastroianni as an artist who doesn't know what to do with his art (and life)
